Are You Maximizing Moments or Minutes?
Scriptures of the Day:
Psalm 90:12. “Teach us to realize the brevity of life so that we may grow in wisdom”
I am almost there, the end of my rope is approaching and I can only imagine how precious my time left is.
In my 84 years of life, I have realized how valuable it is to allow a wider margin living. Sad but true for others I have witnessed a lot of my friends including me spend most of our time in spending chatting, drinking beers and wine, leaving little margin for what is really important-relationships.
How much time do we spend on television, internet, and on our iPhone? Have we asked ourselves how much time we spend with our wives and children? How much time we spend reading the Bible and devotions to God?
At the end of the day, I have started evaluating myself, all that I do and ask how important is every opportunity that I have in my hand. Am I really maximizing moments or minutes with my God, wife, and children? Time is a precious commodity we have. Would you be willing to create meaningful moments? Or would you rather maximize minutes?
